SCARY MOVIE IS BACK!
It doesn’t just have the original essence, it also brings a fresh, updated Scary Movie kind of humor, and I really enjoyed it a lot.
From start to finish, I had such a great time, I watched it with some friends, and every 30 minutes I kept telling the friend next to me “What piece of art are we watching?” 🤣
For real, you need to watch it, and if you’re a fan of the old movies, you’re going to have a delightful time.
I loved how spontaneous the whole movie felt, It has joke after joke, but not in a dumb way and of course, some jokes are better than others.
They roast a lot of the most popular topics right now, and they also make fun of the previous movies in the franchise.
It has a similar essence to the first one, and the return of the original cast was gorgeous, when Shorty and Cindy first meet again, it was such a beautiful moment because Shorty roasted her xD
I don’t know how they did it, but as a huge fan of the saga, I had really big expectations, and they actually surpassed them.
It was peak comedy hahaha.
I don’t know if it’s my favorite Scary Movie yet, I have to watch it more times before making my final decision.
The actors performances felt forced, but on purpose, In that way, I still like the first one more because it feels more natural, but here it really feels like that was the intention, they even tell you that hahaha.
I think my favorite jokes were with Ray and Shorty, both are pretty close hahaha, the scenes with Shorty feel like a big part of the budget went there, there was one scene where I told my friend again, “Peak” It’s freaking crazy how they elevate a joke and it was a Shorty scene.
Another hilarious joke was with Tuesday xD, the parody of Wednesday 🤣 is not exactly a new joke, but they put it in so naturally that it will makes you laugh.
Of course, the movie has dick jokes, so watch out who you watch it with hahaha, they literally zoom in, just in case you didn’t notice it was a dick.
They parody a lot of movies, I can’t even count how many references I saw, the Weapons movie joke was one of my favorite ones xD, It was perfect, just perfect... When you see it, you know or confirmed in that second that the Wayans Brothers are the GOATs of comedy, they mixed up so many ideas, and somehow, they all make sense together.
As we saw in the trailers, yeah, Kai Cenat appears, and it’s actually a really funny scene, I feel so glad to understood most of the jokes, like the Kai Cenat scene, because I don’t really watch him, I watch more Spanish YouTubers/Streamers, but I’m glad for not living under a rock hahaha, they even joke about Jeffrey Epstein xD
By the way, I watched it with the original voices, and at first it felt strange to me because I’ve always watched these movies with the Latin American dub, and honestly, the dub does a great job, but I enjoyed the original version a lot and I will try watching all in their original audio, well I watched the first and second one but like 2 years ago I think so.
It has so many references, and I want to talk about all of them, but for this movie, I’m going to make an exception and avoid spoilers.
For me, this was my first 5 star movie in my reviews, YOU MUST WATCH IT. It has my approval.
I was actually going to write this review the same night I watched it, which was yesterday June 03, 2026 at 9:00 PM, but I got home around 12:00 AM and fell asleep xD.
